I agree with everything, good valid points. I also hope they add x11 support soon, and maybe another texture patch. Somethings like the Imperial Officers’ pens and what not on their uniform look flat, but again, such a minor quibble in an otherwise fantastic game.

As someone who plays the game mostly for PVP and hates questing, I am finding the quests and storylines a decent amount of fun.

I really wish they would fix many of the bugs such as not being able to open your mailbox for hours on end and such.

#1: Well they have to leave something to get the populace excited about and buy the expansions (**coughnopandascough**). I too wanted to see a little more variety, but I think back to vanilla WoW and remember how it used to be.

#3: ABSOLUTELY AGREE! I was disappointed to see our companions have names, our enemies have names, our droids have names, but our ships don’t? Aw cmon!

You and I have chatted SWTOR and you know my interest in it is very minimal, but for some reason I really see you as a Sith Sorceror. Darth Franks raining down bolts of lightning and power, all the while yelling “Stay off my lawn!”

Sorry dude LOL. I know your turmoil. I know my first toon will be a Bounty Hunter. Funny thing was I was all about Galactic Republic. I still am. I think I’ll be doing a Mercenary. I haven’t thought much about it because, like you I hate not having a choice. So I ignore it LOL! Be interested in hearing what you decide.

I only hope this first experience out of country will help you understand that it happens in MOST other countries where tourism is their greatest moneymaker. No matter what, unless you go off the beaten path, you’ll have vendors standing in front of you and attempting to block you from leaving without purchasing their goods. It may not be how you’re accustomed to things, but it’s how they do it. Sometimes they’ll even get a bit touchy-feely, but that’s usually while they’re picking your pocket.

When booking anywhere, you always have to go through a travel agent if you want full packages. You can’t just expect for a resort to handle transportation if they’ve no desire to insure passengers from the airport to their hotel/motel/hostel/etc. I suppose that many of your friends, myself included, could have warned you about such things while traveling, but I had assumed you already knew. You also have to watch for extra fees and make sure you read fine print…but I’m guessing you’re aware of such now.

I am happy that your wedding turned out to be all that you wanted and then some. Had family affairs not sprung up out of nowhere, I would have been able to see it first-hand, but I am glad to wait for the pictures, as well. I still have to put your gift in the mail when I have the opportunity to think straight for more than a few moments. =)
